The Continental Leadership Research Institute says all political parties vying to form government should make debt management and the high inflation rate their number one priority.

CLRI Executive Director, Paul Hakoola says political players in the country should address the current challenges the country is facing and that top of the list is the management of the country’s debt and the reduction of inflation levels. Mr. Hakoola says it is unfortunate that those vying for office have concentrated on personal attacks of opponents and bickering amongst themselves.

He says all political players should tell the public exactly how they intend to address the economic issues which the country is grappling with by highlighting their proposed solutions so as to enable the electorate to make informed decisions when casting their votes in the forthcoming August elections.
