Choolwe Mweene is an experienced Commercial Executive. He has more than fifteen years of successful commercial excellence, marketing and communications management in various sectors.
He has led, initiated and executed highly successful demand generation campaigns and communications management in the Advertising, FMCG, Financial and Telecommunication industries with a proven track record in Southern and East Africa.
He has worked on blue chip brands such as Bharti Airtel, Barclays bank (now ABSA), Nestle, Coca-Cola, Unilever, TOYOTA, SC Johnson, Sanlam, SABMiller, GlaxoSmithKline, Monsanto, Bayer, Prudential, WWF, Parmalat, Lactalis, and COMACO. He has consulted on projects from the EU, FSD, Zambian government and United Kingdom government. He was also a lead consultant in the development of a communication strategy for national financial inclusion strategy in Zambia. He has conducted and facilitated various training such as media for CEOs in the Sub-Shara region. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Zambia; master’s in business administration with public policy and bachelor’s in business administration and Strategy.
