The Institute has held Stakeholder meetings on peaceful elections with youths from different political parties in Chipata Eastern Province, among those in attendance in include members from the police service in Chipata to also contribute to the discussion and find better ways of working with the community and diffuse potential violence with engagement among themselves and with law enforcement agencies and the electoral body.

 

 

The institute paid a catestesy call on the Deputy Commission of Police for Eastern Province as part of it’s engagement meetings with key stakeholders in ensuring that law enforcement agencies such the police find common ground on issues of political violence and work towards attaining peaceful elections through engagement and answering questions and concerns political parties have with they way the police command handles affairs of political parties in the Province.
